Kudos to Obama today for his response to Australia's jackass Prime Minister.

The Democratic presidential hopeful said if the Australian prime minister was "ginned up to fight the good fight in Iraq," he needs to send another 20,000 Australians to the war.

"Otherwise, it's just a bunch of empty rhetoric," Obama said.

The Australian Prime minister was not doing GWB or PNAC'ers any favors with such comments (Americans don't take kindly to such remarks by foreign leaders). It was way out of line, and Obama responded very well.

Edit: I'm contemplating if I should take off Australia for my list of near-term vacation destinations until the jackass retracts his comments or the good people of Australia elect a new prime minister. Perhaps I shall write to the embassy...

He needs to be bombarded with angry emails. I've just done this, a couple thousand more would get media attention and shine the light of public fury on him, and probably get us the support of sympathetic Aussies (probably the majority there too). Aussies are great, but he's an asshole idiot like Bushiecon!
