A Suggestion For Future War Protest Marches On D.C.....
I wish I could have gone but time and money prevented me from being there. I was, however, there in spirit and watch all of the CSPAN coverage I could. I was thinking when watching that it would have been cool if everyone that attended this event took with them the names of 10 people back in there home cities that they are representing at the march. That way when they estimate the crowd at 100,000 - they are really representing 100,000 X 10 or 1 million people.

Basically our elected officials (Senators and Congressmen/women) represent there constituency back in their home state. This would be kind of the same concept.

Any thoughts?

Also - too bad this was on the weekend. I know it had to be in order to get people to the event - work around there job schedules and the like. But because it is on the weekend - the story is lost in the media. Kind of like we hear that the administration slips negative stories out on Friday so they get buried.

On the cable news channels - we get the second stringers and the weekend crew - and they just don't do the effort by all those people that did march any justice.

Also - I was kind of miffed that Hillary upstaged this march by her appearance which was covered live by CSPAN in Iowa. Either she should have scheduled this appearance on another weekend not conflicting with the march or she should have been in D.C. herself to show her support for us American people that want this war to end. She talks a good talk - that she wishes she could have a do over. This would have been her chance and in my opinion - she blew it.
