"Clinton, Obama, and Edwards have taken all the money out of the race" ...... ? Oh really?
This is the latest media refrain. No other candidate stands a chance because these three have sucked all the money out of the pipeline.

Bullshit.

The richest donor on the planet is limited to whatever it is the FEC says .... $2,000, is it? Whatever.

Then there's the Internet ..... and that hasn't even started.

I really despise the perpetrators of these memes, which are little more than urban myths.

2. Four-K/Schmore-K .......
The folks who plunk down that kinda money this early out have lots more $4K checks! These are the same folks who would write those campaign donation checks for $40K if the law allowed. They got lotsa money to burn .... and they're pretty much the only players right now .... that and the corporate PAC money.

3. I agree with you -- they should have REDUCED it instead
Force people to run Dean-style TRUE grassroots campaigns going after small donations.
