1. Did Clark announce he is running for President?
Hillary is the latest to announce and therefore the interest. I heard a lot about Obama when he announced.

I think he is too old now to run for President, and he has no more Grecian formula.

3. That's a gross thing to contemplate.
What do the guys on the treadmill say about the chances of picking up Senate or House seats in 2008?

7. If this continues one will have to ask himself
why the 'liberal' media is so interested in Hillary? For her good they better back off because intelligent Dems will surely question this.

8. DU is also going "Hillary Bonkers" .. Look at how many Hillary posts are on here!!
If you type in the word Hillary and use your highlight function, this place lights up like a Christmas tree..

p.s. I'm still in the unique and rare camp of DU'ers who have never started a Hillary thread!!

And I plan to stay there!

Lieberman was the clear front runner for the democratic nominee.

I can't remember how that worked out for him.

12. Well, considering she's at 41% and the next contender is at 17%
this can't come as too much of a surprise. Why the resentment? Just curious.

16. The disparity in the way she is treated here is appalling
It's going to be interesting if she gets the nod; I don't think some have thought it out that far. It's funny that the folks that bash her mercilessly are usually the ones whining about their candidate being bashed. Oh, the irony.

25. The problem is she is getting it unfairly and undeservidely. Do you
think the networks would give equal time to all the candidates in the running? They won't but they should.

32. When has the MSM ever covered campaigns fairly...
This is not a surprise...Hillary is simply better at garnering attention from them...it's part of the game that every potential candidate knows about up front and has to account for...

Obama has been doing a pretty good job of it as well...

18. well, you know last time a large group of Dean supporters
were so upset with Kerry getting the nom, and the rules in force here about trashing the nominee once he/she was chosen -

that they went off and formed their own website where they could trash Kerry (and Democrats in general) to their heart's content.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a repeat of that...

26. Explaining that she lacks leadership qualities and has never taken a tough stand
her entire time in the senate is not bashing. Of course, I did one time bash her, but it was well deserved IMO, after she played along with the RW lies about Kerry misstatement about Bush. She knew it was nothing and she could of backed up a fellow Dem, instead she stabbed him in the back. I won't forget that because it shows what kind of person she really is.

Way too much baggage, including the Coretta Scott King eulogy...ouch. Most are leaning Edwards "very clever under the radar campaign"....and he's "likeable" too.

were talking excitedly and adoringly about Hillary running.

Maybe you should hang out at Denny's if you want to hear the good news on our next president.

24. Quote from a co-worker today, " don't ask me to vote for her, because no way no how,
she scares me". Now he is a Republican and he knows I support Kerry, and he knows that the senator has been right on may of the things he ran on, so he said, maybe she is a uniter, she'll bring us together in opposition. I don't know, I have Democrat friends as well as Republicans that think this is a joke and this is just a pay back for his cheating and Bill Clinton wanting to be back in the White House. I hope this dies down for a while, so that other candidates can have a chance to get some TV time.

33. Face it folks, the American M$M is Back-Wash.
The true "monkey vomit" of corporate best interests and shiny-object gossip fests all meant to keep us poor dumb non-investor classes entertained lest we look at our Military Industrial Complex BLEEDING our country into a wasteland. Well, only for the 99% of us, the wealthy will always find someplace to call "home." :(

But no worries, we are STUPID and prove it by watching this swill of bread and circuses.

I loathe our Corporate Media.
