Poll question: If you were part of the escalation (surge) where would you want to be posted
Since you won't see our mainstream media do more than cheer for Bush's bravery in doing what nobody wants - and doing it badly - I thought it is DU's responsibility to do a poll that might have showed up in Stars and Stripes, before Bush fired all the commanders that told him he was nuts proposing a course that can not work.

1. The Anbar choice - fighting the Sunni "insurgents" that the Saudi's now support - should
be part of the choices, but I ran out of slots as polls seem to be limited to 10 choices.

7. When I wore the blue suit, Wake was
the 'you're being punished' assignment. According to them what survived, the flight line took up most of the island; the club was an iron utility shed and by the 11th month the gooney birds started to look really fetching.

I've been on a range with basics. That reptilian glitter in their beady little eyes while they were stroking a M-16 was, shall we say, unsettling.

8. LOL - gooney birds - or the closing crowd ladies - it is a tough choice!
but I'm sure the comradre was great! That's one thing I remember at Fort Sheridan (my dad's base after WW2).

4. Defending the honky-tonks in Alabama like our fearless leader did in helping to spread freedom.
Where he safely drank to all the suckers overseas getting their ass shot at for no good reason.
