1. Yes... the Congressional Black Caucus gave him a standing ovation.
..They were also upset that Speaker Pelosi has stripped him of his Ways and Means Appropriations seat.

She did what she had to do.

2. Actually,
I watched it and they stood and appluaded for every member. Compared to some of the more noble members Jefferson's was half-hearted from the audience and the stage. I really wish we had gotten rid of this guy....
