NY Times Compares bush's V-N Visit to Clinton's
Like comparing a sow's ear to a silk purse:

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/11/19/world/asia/19vietnam.html?_r=1&hp&ex=1163912400&en=ac28a7081c62faa6&ei=5094&partner=homepage&oref=slogin

On Saturday, Mr. Bush emerged from his hotel for only one nonofficial event... (snip) There were almost no Vietnamese present, just a series of tables displaying photographs of the group’s painstaking work, and helmets, shoes and replicas of bones recovered by the 425 members of the command. He asked a few questions and then sped off in his motorcade.

But the mood of this trip could not have been more different from the visit of another president, Bill Clinton, exactly six years ago this weekend, when he seemed to be everywhere. (snip) In 2000, tens of thousands of Hanoi’s residents poured into the streets to witness the visit of the first American head of state since the end of the Vietnam War.

On Saturday, Mr. Bush’s national security adviser, Stephen J. Hadley, conceded that the president had not come into direct contact with ordinary Vietnamese, but said that they connected anyway. (snip) But the response was tepid —the invited audience somehow missed several of built-in applause lines...

LOLOLOL.

I urge you to read the whole article, even through page two, because there are many more gems in it. You will love the part about how Laura doesn't go to the silk shop. Maybe it's 'cuz it is plastered with pics of Hillary.

1. A couple of phony, uncultured HICKS
Zero intellectual curiosity, and Zero understanding of how to promote diplomacy and get in "touch" with the people. Bush is nothing but an absolute embarrassment to the country. What a waste of jet fuel and turbine blades to send him anywhere. He fails at ALL endeavors.

Do the nation a great service for once, do the right thing,......RESIGN.
