A most instructive FreeRepublic thread
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1734462/posts

The Party is going to implode, folks. 2008 is gone. The deluded will be assigning blame to somebody....anybody, that don't think the way they do. What they don't understand is that they have always been in the minority....they lost in 2000 and they've gamed the national elections since. But there comes a time when a vast majority of Americans get it...they truly are the last losers on a very short bus.

4. Ain't clicking. Buddy of mine said Freepers were claiming some wild shit in PA >>>
That Dems had taken over a polling place and were putting whiteout on registration forms and letting everyone in to vote and telling them to vote Dem.

7. hell yeah, instructive!
It's like hiring a lawyer. You may despise his personal life and his principles, but what is important is that he WINS YOUR CASE.

I read this as:

'It doesnt matter if your babysitter is a pedophile as long as she's an undocumented alien whom you can pay in peanuts'

9. Exactly.
What's most important is winning (RNC)....the rubes, well, they've just been used and abused. Many are going to wake tomorrow morning and realize that they do not reflect the American mainstream....very bad news for the RNC. The bad news is that they'll be assigning blame to ________. The worse news is that Ohio is now lost...there goes 2008. We are witnessing the end to a minority that thought they were the majority.

8. Wrong As Always
Bush and his posse will be thrown under the bus by the party, starting tomorrow. If we win the senate, Bush will be impeached - with Rethugs leading the charge (as they did in Watergate, incidentally).

There'll be a brand new squad of fresh-faced Hitler Youth in 2008 - same ideas, but without personal baggage. Unless the Dems grow vertebrae in the next two years, we're gonna get a whuppin'.

11. I predict that in 2008, to be called a Republican will be the worst insult
imaginable. 2 years of investigations, my friend, to uncover 6 years worth of crimes. There will be a new 2 Parties to compete with Republicans...lets call them the Non-criminal Party and the Really Jesus Party. They'll split the vote....it'll be 20 years before there is a Party that will compete head-to-head with the Democrats...IMHO.
