The unkindest cut of all: "Kerry... Political Punching Bag":
http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/11/02/news/kerry.php

These dumb stories just don't seem to go away. Almost 2K articles about it archived on Google already.

Keith Olbermann led the way last night: go after Bush and his Repuke minions for pretending to be stupid enough to cynically and dishonestly distort the meaning of Kerry's words.

1. Kerry's used to the gauntlet created by DC powerstructure and their corpmedia
Edited on Thu Nov-02-06 02:35 PM by blm
Throughout the 80s and 90s he was mocked as a "conspiracy theory nut" for years as he diligently pursued IranContra, BCCI, illegal wars in Central America and CIA drugrunning, and wrote a book warning this country about the growing strength of global terror networks and how to track their funding.

Aren't you glad the media is now almost solely controlled by the same people who all have so much to hide?

The LAST thing corpmedia wants is an anti-corruption, open government Democrat in the WH.

Kerry's still standing, and manages to speak truth to power even when corpmedia does its best to stifle that truth.

Remember when FOX was exposed in that documentary and how they manipulate their stories against Kerry? That is EXACTLY what every major newsroom is doing. The only one who won't carry their water is Keith Olbermann.

2. Olbermann

I am in love with Keith Olbermann. Wouldn't the Repugs just love to be able to shut him up! His special comment about the Kerry flap was exactly on target, as his special comments always are. I do have to wonder, however, where this feisty, pull-no-punches Kerry was in 2004. He should have slapped the swiftboaters and slapped them hard. I think he -- and the entire Democratic Party -- seem to have learned their lesson about that, though. I have a good feeling about Nov. 7. :D

3. Olbermann admitted they were ALL too civil to George Bush all these years.
Paul Krugman said the same about the media protection of George Bush last year.

When Kerry did counterattack hard, few in the media reported it, let alone aired his attacks.

4. Bushco & CorpMedia are so afraid of Olbermann
Edited on Thu Nov-02-06 04:18 PM by Seabiscuit
that they won't touch him. Only O'Lielly spews his inane and harmless crap about Keith.

MSNBC won't dare fire Olbermann and the other bobbleheads at Fox and CNN, the networks and RW talk radio won't so much as mention his name for fear that more and more people will tune in and listen to what he has to say.

And you know what? More and more people have already started tuning in to Keith Olbermann since he started his "special commentaries". In the last couple of months his ratings have been soaring through the roof!

That's got to feel like a hot poker up Shrub's arse.

Keith Olbermann is a real hero in our time.
