Chimp was in Michigan yesterday.....my thoughts....

Our pResident was out raising money ($1000.00 a plate) for Mike Bouchard who is nearly 10 points back of Debbie Stabenow. I heard the news reports that chimp was out campaigning for repugs that were tight races. Then why would he come to Michigan when it is pretty clear Bouchard isn't going to win. He raised a million of for Bouchard about a month ago.... so I guess this money will end up in the repugs general funds to help races in the future.

Anyway..Chimp must be choosing his stops very carefully....that is, only stumping for repugs that are clear losers.... so not to tip the close races toward the Democrats.

I didn't hear if he actually appeared in a state with a race that was to close to call. I really think it would be a terrible waste of time spending anytime in Michigan when the repugs don't have a clear chance of winning.

1. I knew I smelled something foul in the air here yesterday!!

I could smell it in Livonia and he was in Warren! I was impressed with Channel 7 News showing auto workers being interviewed that said, "Yeah, Bush can come here to help raise money for a Republican, but he can not find the time to meet with the auto companies to discuss the high cost of health care, etc." Debbie is going to kick his ass anyway and we definitely don't need a Dick in Lansing. Keep your fingers crossed.
