5. If GOP retains or ties Senate, Lieberman will vote for the GOP leader
assuming that Lieberman wins CT on the strength of all those voters that think his support for Israel trumps his support of the Iraq war, loss of civil liberties, torture, and giving Bush dictatorial powers.

Defense then our Republicant (Pasty face do nothing) gov. Rell gets to nominate a Republican for the CT senate seat!! Joe would not care!!! He'd jump at the chance....

But I am hopeful the Democratic leadership will change their ways in the next couple of weeks and give their complete support to Mr. Lamont's campaign.

Some machine somewhere will cause some wacked out result that will cause everybody to freak out like Blackwell winning or something strange like that.
