No more guessing; Il Dunce has no plans of retreating from Iraq
per his radio address today.
We are there until we can wrest his weak little self from the controls and find someone who will actually act in the best interests of the American populace.

1. I heard yesterday that the window for the safe withdrawal of our troops
...is closing rapidly. Once that window closes, they'll have to fight their way out of the Green Zone.:(

2. The man and his cohorts are control freaks and apparently give no
thought to the soldiers there. I wish people would wake up and figure that out.
I hadn't heard about that window; that's scary.

3. He won't consider leaving Iraq
until Saddam is dead. I didn't hear his radio address today, but I believe this is why no timetable for withdrawal is acceptable. Our forces can't leave until there is no chance of Saddam being sprung from jail and reinserted back in power. I believe that is the reason no one is talking about "when" we can withdraw. It's certainly not about "winning" at this point, but all about preservation. Also remember that if the US military forces are sent home, all the mercenaries who work for Halliburton, et al, will be left without protection and without the war plunder they were promised they could take out of Iraq's oil fields. Saddam Hussein's disposition is still undetermined and that is the reason B*** can't let our troops come home. That would make him worse than his non-heavenly father.

4. My take on dimson is much easier; it has nothing to do with Hussein
and everything to do with the blivet's inability to admit he made a colossal, bloody, historic mistake.

5. The veil is off the mistake
the colossal, bloody, historic mistake as you so rightly point out. I can't disagree that he lies and and arrogant to a sociopathic degree and is the most uniquely unqualified "leader" the USA has ever endured. Torture is okay by him now, so maybe some soldier trained in these methods can make him say, "I was wrong. I'm sorry for f****ing you over, America."
