Poll question: Rate the Senate seats we take on Nov 7 from most satisfaction on down
Edited on Tue Oct-17-06 01:58 AM by rpannier
While I realize every Senate seat we take from the pukes gives us satisfaction, I'm curious as to how you would rate the victories.

For me, the order that would give me the most satisfaction from greatest-to-least is:

satanorum because he's such a f**k, it'd piss off the american taliban and he's the #3 puke in the Senate.

burns because he's been there so long, he's corrupt as hell and he's a f**king jerk

allen because he's a racist and it'd pretty much end his presidential run in '08 (although for all practical purposes he's probably finished)

corker because he's cat-killers hand-picked successor and it's also probably finish him (frist) as a player in the puke party.

dewine because it's Ohio. I almost listed this above Tennessee because Brown is a progressive and Ford really isn't.

chafee, he's not really that objectionable. I wish he had seen the light and left the republikkan party. But he's a republikkaner and he has to go.

on note: I realize that I'm focusing on the negative by using the republikkaner names, instead of the Dems running against them.
If you're offended by this, I apologize. But, four of these men (satan, macaca, burns and dewine are pure examples of what's wrong with national politics and corker is the familiar of the worst Senate Majority leader in the last half century)
But in case you need reminding:
Brown (Ohio) The most progressive of the 6.
Whitehouse (RI) Solid progressive.
Tester (MT) Excellent populist.
Webb (VA) Good credentials and he's running against allen.
Ford (TN) Good human being. I disagree with him on some issues. But, the only way I won't disagree with any candidate is if the candidate is me.
Casey (PA) He's running against satanorum -- that's all I need to know about him. I like his position on many issues. He's too conservative on some issues for me. But...refer to my comments on Ford, they apply here too.

1. Allen is looking like a longshot lately. But losing Ricky will be sweet.
Whitehouse impresses me whenever I read his quotes. I like his patter, even if Chafee isn't among the most detestable of Republicans.

2. Other: Santorum, Burns, Allen, DeWine, Corker, Chafee
DeWine before Corker but otherwise in the order you gave
and pretty much for the same reasons.
