Why Vote Republican?

The Post Chronicle serves up a perfectly excellent headline, punctuation notwithstanding: "Why Vote Republican."

The story paints a compelling portrait of how a party with absolute power over every branch of government has stood up to a virulently supportive media and a Democratic Party that thinks nothing of sighing mournfully every once in a while.

With all that adversity, the GOP has still managed to bring the stock market to exactly where it was seven years ago. And they did it with nothing more than good old American sticktoitiveness and $9 trillion of your children's money.

What's more, several American cities and nearly 20% of the Bill of Rights are still intact, and only five major world conflicts are spinning out of control. My god, are these people miracle workers!?

The Post Chron also warns us of the dangers of letting Pelosi infect the rest of America with San Francisco culture. Sorry, City by the Bay, Mr. and Mrs. America can get along just fine without your fancy blue jeans and television.

because I really like my tax cuts? I plan to inherit millions and millions of dollars and don't want to give up any of it to that nasty death tax? Because it's easier than thinking?
