Why is it sexual permissiveness of society as a whole that is
to blame for Foley (See Family Research Council Thread) and yet when a man bursts into an Amish School and kills innocent children, it is the individuals fault and not the pervasive availability of semi-automatic weapons that is to blame...

1. Do you blame the internet for the connection between Foley and the child?
We need to keep perspective. They will use anything against us. All of our rights are on the line right now and any emotionally heated story will help them against us.

3. It's all Foley's fault.....
It was the Family Counsil that was blaming a sexually permissive society, not me...

11. Right, and my question was in keeping...
I tend to think in terms of all the things the current administration wants to take away from us. Everything they touch gets framed in those terms.

4. I suspect that this is due to the way that guns are seen ...
in our society.

You know, the right to keep and bear arms ............

And in many ways we are still a very Puritanical society when it comes to views on sex......

These views in both areas are totally wrong, IMHO......

10. when facts won't fit..
you blur the lines. I think this relationship between big industry, media, think-tanks, and religious institutions is born of bigoty, greed, fear, and testosterone....the end result being the toxic elite.

12. Ah, the GOP hypocrisy at it again.
It's only bad if they say it's bad.

It's only important if they say it's important.

And it's only worth impeaching if they say it's worth impeaching.

Words to live by from the "do as I say, not as I do" bunch.

13. Foley
Is to blame for his choices.. he was a pedophile psychopath who KNEW he was doing WRONG.He didn't care,he thought his buddies on the hill would cover his back.

The Shooter at the Amish School was also PEDOPHILE psychopath who raped those girls before he killed them and he killed himself because he KNEW what he did was WRONG he didn;t carre, like foley. But Unlike Foley he was caught, surrounded by police...And he knew if he wasen';t shot by the cops on sight that he would be hunted down and EXPOSED..
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/nation/4230654.html

Both of them did wrong because they wanted to do it and did not care who got hurt and what the consequences were .They did it hoping to not be caught, but they got caught.

I hope they both meet the same end, death. One is dead The Amish Shooter thug. Foley I think he should kill himself now,too the scumbag..but sadly Foley unlike the bumpkin pedophile asshole has this stupid true believer protection,a false image believed by right winger loyal sycophants,to mask himself,so he may get away with it.
But if he had no mask or " tolerant buddies"to hide him,he would be sticking the gun in his mouth ,like the amish killer shit head, rather than FACE THE TRUTH. Thats how these monsters ARE they are revolting cowards.
