List of Democrats and Repukes that crossed party lines on wiretapping bill
Once in a while I do this, but here is the list of Democrats who crossed the party lines and voted with the Repukes on the illegal wiretapping bill. I put this up so you know who crossed the lines, take a look, your congressman could be on the list.

I was predicting 30 Dems would cross the lines, but the magic number today is 18.

Here's the list

18 Dems
-John Barrow, Georgia
-Melissa Bean, Illinois
-Marion Berry, Arkansas
-Dan Boren, Oklahoma
-Leonard Boswell, Iowa
-Bud Cramer, Alabama
-Henry Cuellar, Texas
-Lincoln Davis, Tennessee
-Chet Edwards, Texas
-Harold Ford. Jr, Tennessee
-Bart Gordon, Tennessee
-Stephanie Herseth, South Dakota
-Jim Matheson, Utah
-Jim Marshall, Georgia
-Charlie Melancon, Louisiana
-Collin Peterson, Minnesota
-John Spratt, South Carolina
-Gene Taylor, Mississippi

Hey by the way got to ask this, I have posted lists of democrats who crossed party lines on major votes before but is it just me or is it the same Democrats every time cross party lines to side with the repukes, matheson, bean, barrow, the entire tennessee delegation. Is it just me or what?

And since i'm in the typing mood, here is a list of Repukes who actually sided with the Democrats on wiretapping, the magic number is 13

13 Repukes
-Jeff Flake, Arizona
-Scott Garrett, New Jersey
-John Hostettler, Indiana
-Bob Inglis, South Carolina
-Tim Johnson, Illinois
-Walter Jones. Jr, North Carolina
-Jim Leach, Iowa
-Connie Mack IV, Florida
-Jerry Moran, Kansas
-C.L "Butch" Otter, Idaho
-Ron Paul, Texas
-Chris Shays, Connecticut
-Don Young, Alaska

Well have a good night

3. DU needs a place where
we can post and keep track of which congressmen are voting which way on issues.

I would like to know how these people voted on the Bankruptcy bill and other things that have been before congress.

If there was a place on DU to just go look it up, it would be great.

8. Fucking Melissa Bean AGAIN!!!
Goddammit..... :grr:

And Harold Fucking Ford....

What is the point of having a fucking (D) after your name if you vote (Nazi) when it counts?

And yes yes yes I know all of the logic behind "John Conyers with subpoena power" but Christ on a bike this pisses me off...
