2. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Much as I liked his politics, Kerry's ineffectiveness at fighting back against the swift boaters is enough for me to tell him to let someone else have a chance.

We need another Bill Clinton - someone who is not afraid to go on the attack and someone who doesn't get pushed around by the thugs on the right.

3. I don't think Kerry's running will prevent someone else from having a
chance.

We will have a large field to pick from again. Let's hope who ever runs gets the most votes in both the popular and electoral college vote.

4. Oh please
How long have they been attacking and blaming Clinton on the 9/11 question? How many years did it take him to snap back ?

16. I know!
It's been 5 years. How come people only say "too little, too late" when Kerry speaks out?

Maybe it's because people realize that Kerry has a good shot at the nomination and therefore poses a big challenge to their preferred candidate, so they shout him down.

24. Clinton got impeached by thugs. Gore got impeachmented. Kerry got

impeachmented. It's what happens when a cottage industry grows up around the idea that Dems can be destroyed using the corporate control of the media.

So, there existed IMPEACHMENTING before the swifts ever popped up. It was NEVER destroyed as a tactic as it should have been in 1997 and it just grew stronger and richer since then.

Clinton didn't stand up for 5 years against the smear that he was to blame for 9-11. He just did. Kerry answered the swifts the next day - the media just doesn't want you to know that.

5. No "Do overs" for Mr. "I've got your back".
If he still wants to still have my back, he can do so from the Senate, while supporting Al Gore for President.

7. Do-over? No, this would be a stronger, fresh start run.
Don't expect a repeat of what didn't work the last time because Kerry learns from his mistakes and comes out better for them.

6. I want him to run. He wants to run for all the right reasons. I respect
that he wants to make this country stronger and more competitive throughout the world. Good for him- he deserves another chance.

10. Yes, we are so much better than republicans.
We stand by our party.

Oh, republicans gave Nixon a "second chance", he won.

But, a democrat does not deserve a second chance, even tho he got probably 10 million votes stolen from him in a fraudulent system, that could not be verified.

11. I doubt any of us are down on Kerry because he was cheated.
I think it's probably more likely because he didn't stand up afterward and say "I was cheated" that some people are a little upset.

I don't believe he'll get a second chance though. JMHO of course.

13. I challenge Kerry bashers to start their own thread...
Instead of bashing Kerry for generally uneducated reasons, start your own thread on who you'd like to support in the primaries.

See you there on the streets in primary season. Bring it...

15. I support Hillary partially because of her experience fighting Rep. Sleaze
Something I think Kerry did poorly with in 2004...

However, my guess is Kerry learned a valuable lessen from that campaign, which means a second Kerry run does not send me screaming into the hills. I suspect he would do alot better the second time around!

26. It's his right to run.
It's unfortunate that his running would probably take money from more viable and electable candidates. I don't see him getting very far.
