I came upon this website while doing a google search of Republican Joy Padgett's bankruptcy issues (another topic in itself). Normally I would shrug off a Republicans shitty website but his homepage plays one of his TV commercials. At first I was unsure of how I felt after viewing the add, then after a bout of nausea and puking I became very angry. I then made the decision to tell all of my friends here at DU about this...I know I was freaking irate after I got done viewing it so I know everyone else here will be.

He sat in my living room and wanted me to put his sign in my yard. I almost died laughing, told him even if I agreed with anything he stood for I wouldn't because of his campaign tactics.
It's phone calls and those ads!!!and postcards with Mexican youths holding guns.
People here don't take him seriously.

Every possible slice of xenophobia and hatred he could sweep up into one commercial! And filmed in black and white too...and shot so the black candudate doesn't look black at all, though Jesse and that "Old Al" photo are in Living Color!

I wouldn't be irate if I were you...that humdinger is a soon-to-be CLASSIC ad, like those oldies that used to tell you to smoke a cigarette to calm down! It's everything disgusting, all rolled into one!

Brad Miller with mariachi music playing in the background: "Brad Miller supports gay marriage and sponsored a bill to let American homosexuals bring their foreign homosexual lovers to this country on a marriage visa. If Miller had his way, America would be nothing but one big fiesta for illegal aliens and homosexuals."

The Foreign HOMOSEXUAL Importation Act (Somehow I don't think that's the actual title of the bill.... ;-) )

Brad Miller repeatedly sponsored a bill to let American homosexuals bring their foreign homosexual lovers to our country on marriage visas. (How many times can the word "homosexual" be used in a sentence?")

Vernon opposes Brad's plan to recruit thousands of foreign homosexuals to come to this country to be given American citizenship. Outrageous! ("recruit"; so we not only have to deal with the gay mafia, but also the gay militia. :rofl: )

Making ENGLISH the Official Language of the United States

Brad Miller says anyone who wants all Americans to speak English is "kooky." Anti-English politicians like Miller are the reason you must now "Press 1 for English" when you call government offices or buy things with your ATM card. (The Horror!!!)

This should not be negotiable--immigrants who want to become American citizens should be required to learn our language. Vernon Robinson has been endorsed by the English Language PAC.


Yeah, this guy's just so out there that it's funny, though he's serving a very important role in the GOP machine. He's basically a black Ann Coulter: say the craziest, most extreme, nuttiest things that pop into your head, which the "moderate" Republicans can then distance themselves from (doing so only after you've been on their show and gotten publicity, naturally). The extremists get to play the part of moderates ("Well, he's not as far right as Coulter/Robinson: he only thinks Muslims should be deported, not put in camps!"), while the batshit insane rhetoric gets injected into the debate as the extreme, though still respectable, boundary of discourse.
