In my home state of Ohio, Republican Ohio Senator Mike DeWine released a TV ad with slimy attacks on Democrat Sherrod Brown's record on national security. The ads are flat out false. While Sherrod has stood up to the administration on things like the war in Iraq, he has always fought to protect our troops, to make sure our first responders have the tools they need in an emergency, to tighten our borders, and fix the problems in homeland security that Republicans have allowed to still exist five years after 9/11. But we don't have to take it lying down. We can help Sherrod Brown fight back:
