2. We're not going down without a fight...
Our votes aren't transferable, and neither are our spines.

I love it.

5. Whoo Hoo!
The Dean Machine is alive, well and standing strong. I for one will stand with Dean all the way. The one thing that puzzles me is that the other candidates surely have to know about the incredible force of support and the virtual money machine Dean leads. Wouldn't it benefit them to actually "court" if you will, in hopes of picking up some of his steam in the event he doesn't make it.

Now let me clarify that. I WILL not EVER be wooed away by ANYONE I am harcore Dean all the way. It just seems to me that some would wise up and see the "possible" potential of a force so incredibly strong. As my grandmother use to say to me "You can can attract a lot more flies with honey than vinegar"!

8. They've had their opportunities.
And so far they've treated the idea with cynicism, contempt, and outright hostility. It may already be too late to turn things around.

9. I hope he stays in all the way
I am really surprised he made a come back. At this point I hope he stays in all the way, but who knows what will happen. But darn, it should not cost this much to elect a president.

11. No, it shouldn't...
...but I'd much rather that if it does cost a lot, it comes from committed supporters, rather than a handful of powerful white men. Lots of people aren't willing to make those kinds of commitments. They don't feel it their honor to be part of a well-informed citizenry. What has that resulted in? A growing consolidation of powerful influence in the hands of the very few. The information flow is completely vertical. And it does our democracy a great disservice. And it's the fault of every one of us. We've been all too willing to delegate our power, our rights, to the lesser of two evils.
