Send a message to Ken Blackwell - Ohio
Edited on Sun Aug-20-06 10:47 PM by OhioBlue
Send a sign that all Americans want free, fair, open and honest elections in Ohio.

Reasons to Send-A-Sign:
For someone who had to stand in line for hours to vote in 2004
Because the cornerstone of American democracy is the right to vote
Because you are tired of hearing from people how the 2004 election was stolen
To show the rest of America that Ohio can run a fair election
So that college students will not have to stand in the rain for nine hours next time
That county Board of Elections deserve strong leadership in a Secretary of State
Anyone whose social security number has been stolen due to someone's negligence
Because Americans deserve fair elections that they can trust
To ensure that 2008 will not be like 2004, especially in Ohio
Two words - Ken Blackwell
To make Ohio well-known for running fair, open and honest elections rather than investing in valuable coins, beanie babies and golf outings.
To show that all Americans believe in Jennifer Brunner
To show that if you umpire a game, you dont wear the jersey of one of the teams

Jennifer is the real deal - she is intelligent, competent and full of integrity. She will not let Ohio or the Country down. She is probably the most qualified candidate Ohio has ever had for the SOS. She is a former counsel to SOS Sherrod Brown, former Board of elections official, former elections attorney and former Common Pleas Judge. She's is sharp, honest and just a really wonderful person. She is the answer to make Ohio elections honest. Howard Dean said her race was one of the two most important in the Country for the 2008 election.

Edit to add: I know some of my fellow DUers may focus on the point about how "you are tired of hearing how the 2004 elections were stolen". Well, while I believe they were, I don't want Ohio to have that embarrassment again in '08! I want an honest and competent SOS in Ohio!

1. Amen to that!!
I'm an Ohio "voter," too, and I want to think that when I stand in line in November, my ballot will actually count for something.
