What happens if * prances out Osama Late September early October?
Rumor has been floating that Osama is in custody waiting to be brought out at election time.

Madeline Albright said as much a few weeks ago then claimed it a joke. But is it a joke? Could it be possible?

Your thoughts!

And then there were none!

1. We'll remind him that he left Osama a back door open in Tora Bora
In fact, that needs to be an issue brought to the people's attention right now. Kind of like "Big deal you've got the horse since you're the one who left the barn door open to begin with."

3. That'll be too late
Everyone will realize that it is an election ploy if he is captured in the fall. If I had to bet I would say that he will be "captured" in June, July, or early August.

4. Time for innoculation
I don't doubt there will be some surprise but the advantage we have is the insight to know its going to happen.

We should "predict" the capture of OBL whenever we talk to anyone, write LTTEs or correspond with friends.

If we make a big deal out of it, the Bush* administration will either not bring him out or suffer the embarrassment of 40,000+/- DUers telling the rest of the world We Told you so

5. I've been saying this for a long time.
They have him somewhere to be pulled out at their best advantage. It worked with Saddam, why wouldn't it work again?

6. Speak now...

Speak up, make it an issue. Make them show Osama now.

I recall just this week reading about a Senator who's already saying we have him, or will have him soon.

Too many people are joking and talking about this right now. Even Jay Leno. There's always an undercurrent of truth in these things.

13. This is what happened with Saddam
They announced with conviction that they knew where he was and would have him within weeks. Then it was discovered Kuwait had him and delivered him to * just before Thanksgiving, and * claimed capture right after Thanksgiving.

Now it's claimed they know exactly where Osama is and sent troops into Pakistan to get him within weeks possibly a couple of months.

* is very calm given his falling numbers, like he has a secret that will bring him new life at election time.

This scenario needs to be made openly NOW so that America will see it for what it is.

And then there were none!

8. Outrage
Anyone with a lick of sense would be outraged if such a thing happened = the president playing politics with someone responsible for the deaths of over 3000 U.S. Citizens - not to mentions the deaths in the wars as a result of 9/11. In my mind it would be a reason NOT to vote for * -- same thing with this panel he is setting up to investigate intelligence failures but wants the report to come out AFTER the elections. So exactly WHO is playing politics with national security? And they say the Dems side with terrorists? Unbelievable.

15. Newp, I don't
Political cartoonists alone would slaughter this administration pulling both Hussein and Bin Laden from the same spider hole. If they grab Bin Laden, it will be described on Pakistan's border, maybe Syria's.

17. it will depend on the "story" they invent to go with it
there's always a "story", part of their whole "mythmaking" bullshit.

Like the soldier saying "George Bush sends his regards" as he pulled Saddam out of the "spider hole".

Like the BA jet asking "is that Air Force One" when shrub was sneaking over to Baghdad for his photo op.
