Shh... BP Negligent on Maintanance

Anyone else catch the story the other day about how BP was fudging the maintanace of the alaska pipeline and was also faking the documentation?
Amazing how quickly that story vanished. Sadly the price continues to climb.
My guess is that when it is time to review their newer bigger record profits noone will even have the vaguest memory how that came to be.

1. not negligence. deliberate, planned and intentional.
about 3-4 yrs ago, they announced cutting of maintenance, and some friends of mine raised a stink. some gop senator to nowhere in Alaska stopped them cold.
