What would happen if RFK,Jr. could proove
that the last two elections were stolen?? What would be the next step?? I really wonder what the ramifications would be. Impeachment, prosecution or (heh, heh, heh,) torture?? What would the thieves (murderers, liars) be guilty of,really?? Just something to think about!!

1. Actually?
Probably nothing. This sort of thuggery was apparently so alien to the Framers of the Constitution that they neglected to provide remedies for it.

8. I commend your enthusiasm. I really do. But...

I think it's safe to say that 35% of the people (Bush's rock solid base) still wouldn't believe it - no matter what. That leaves 65% of the people. And sure, they'd be upset about it. There would be plenty of them who would express their displeasure at online polls, which would disappear in a day or so. But with the right-wing media either ignoring the issue, or pushing the opinion that it really wasn't stolen, most people wouldn't be so upset as to actually do something about it. Because most people are too busy with working, or taking the kids to soccer practice, or the results of the latest reality based tv show to care enough. We're spoiled in this country. Most people take democracy for granted, just assuming that the checks and balances, and the "freedom of the press" will always keep everything in check. What most people don't see is that we've already started down the slippery slope.

And believe me....I would LOVE to be proven wrong. I wish more people were like you, and "take to the streets".

4. Republicans would deny, deny, deny
I don't care if there was cold, hard, video evidence of it. It would be spun by talking heads as "isolated" and "meaningless", and we'd be hit with a 24-7 barrage of phrases like "get over it" and "liberal whiners". This administration has been on the hook so many times in the past 6 years, and they've always managed to spin out of it. At this point, I can't imagine what evidence we could possibly have that they wouldn't just shrug off.

I wish I could believe otherwise.

9. I was just going to say that we'll see them in action again on August 22..
... the Diebold machines that calculated over a 200% voter turnout in 16 Districts in Anchorage.

I was going to say....

If Frank Murkowski, with the 2nd lowest approval ratings in the nation, can pull out a primary win -- then even Republicans will be screaming about the machines.

But halfway through my post, I just thought of something..

There's a HUGE lawsuit going on here right now. It's very likely that (D) Tony Knowles actually won the U.S. Senate seat, not Frank Murkowski's daughter.

I'm wondering if Frank is only running so that he can LOSE, thereby trying to make it appear as if the machines work?

As much as residents in this state hate him, and as despressed as he is.. why else would he be running again?

Hmmmm.
