1. This could be good or it
could backfire badly for Lamont. He had better be extra sharp.

3. So far he is holding his own
but seems a little stiff.
About half way thru, he is loosening up. Making some great points.

They showed bush kissing lie-berman and lieberman said it "wasn't really a kiss"..he lies just to stay in practice.

Lamont said we needed "Constructive Diplomacy"!

I like him..he seems like a real person and Colbert was going pretty easy on him:)

6. I wonder if Colbert lives in Connecticut?
He did go fairly easy on him, the way he usually does with folks he secretly agrees with.

8. I got a little mini bio for
you of Stephen..

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0170306/bio

He lives in New York but probably feels Lamont is crucial for the Nation as a whole!

10. Oh!!! Now you went and did it! Did you see this part!?!
"...His other notable credits include serving as both writer and cast member on "The Dana Carvey Show"...,"

This gives me the perfect opportunity to post a link to this AMAZING "YouTube" clip of Steven Colbert (10 years younger) from the nearly un-seen "The Dana Carvey Show" (1996) <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115148/>

Here's the YouTube link: <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XJg2i7_t7U>

7. Ned Lamont was interviewed by Al Franken today.
Lamont said that Lieberman has been "cheering on the president every step of the way."

11. That surprises me.
I'e heard Franken describe himself as "a DLC Democrat." As such, I assumed he would support Lieberman.

Thanks for proving me wrong, Al!

13. I wanted to hear the interview because I didn't know
...which way Franken was leaning. Franken seems to be leaning towards Lamont.

12. Colbert's funniest remark...
"When we're at war, isn't that the wrong time to ask why we're at war?"

Oh, and Lamont did pretty well himself!
