Wait a minute. Ollie North laundered cocaine money through the Middle East to fund an illegal war in Nicaragua and Charlie Daniels writes songs about "hanging drug dealers from a tree".

2. It's always puzzled me - people say "the troops are fighting

for our freedom" - does that mean the U.S. wasn't free before Iraq was invaded ?? Was there some sort of occupation no-one was told about ??

I guess they have to have something to hang their hats on - everything else supposedly underpinning Bush's war has been proved to be bogus.....

headlines before the war? "Sadam Threatens the US with Extinction" or "Iraq Promises to Blow Up Washington" "Sadam Warns the US to Behave" For years, the papers have been warning us of the threat.
