How the GOP can fire up the Republican base

It has become apparent in the last few days that the GOP is pulling out all the stops to start firing up their base for the fall elections. And of course the best way to fire this base up is essentially going after all of the freedoms that Americans enjoy today. However, it has impressed me that the Republicans are working way to hard at this so I would like to offer them an alternative that would be simpler and more to the point.

Instead of having a war on terror, a war on drugs, and now a war on the press, i.e. the first amendment, consolidate all these items under one single banner to be able to better focus the troglodytes on.

Introducing the:

"War on Everything Under the Sun."

See isn't that much easier? All one has to remember is that if it is something that represents a freedom, we are at war with it.

4. If the GOP really wants to fire up the base...

...they'll vote for a constitutional amendment to make slavery legal again.

Then they'll wear whites robes with hoods and burn crosses; and change GOP to KKK and Republican party to Republiklan party. :rofl:

5. You have to assume the other side will show up

Especially with both chambers at stake.

We need to worry about our message and our numbers, and not anticipate a forfeit.
