Frank Luntz, seems stumped as how to spin "Iraq Occupation!" Audio Link
...at this link soon: <http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5516284>

I can't even begin to tell you how much Frank "death tax" Luntz infuriates me, that's why it was such a treat to hear him getting all flustered today when George Lakoff, professor of linguistics at the University of California at Berkeley and senior fellow at the Rockridge Institute throw the truth back into his face by calling the 2003 Iraq War and war without end, or "war on terror" as he likes to call it, what it truely is, the Iraqi Occupation.

I think we should all start calling it that, it's very hard for them to spin.

The War and the 2006 Vote: One View

Audio for this story will be available at approx. 7:30 p.m. ET

All Things Considered, June 27, 2006 ·
George Lakoff, professor of linguistics at the University of California at Berkeley
and senior fellow at the Rockridge Institute, and Frank Luntz,
a Republican strategist and president of Luntz Research companies
in Virginia, talk with Michele Norris about how the continuing
Iraq war will affect this year's election cycle.

1. Screw Luntz
That so and so was trying to tell us here in Iowa how we were supposed to vote during the 2004 caucuses. As far as I know, very few Democrtas listened to him though. It just irritated me and I've never had any use for him since then.

5. Well I hope Democrats don't listen to him, because he's probably the...
...#1 A-hole, "Republican Strategist."

The guy is at the top of my list of non-politicians I'd like to see frog-marched to prison.

3. When their talking poiints fail
they get all puzzled. They work so well with people who don't think!

Sorry Frank, there really isn't a "good" way" to spin Iraq. And shame on you for thinking a war like this can be spun.

4. And check this out! Even Bill O'Reilly calls it an "Iraqi Occupation"!!

Here's what I said May 6, 2004: "We will remind you three weeks ago we reported Donald Rumsfeld lost control of the Iraqi occupation, his mistakes were endangering U.S. troops."
