This isn't 2004 where Bush still had a somewhat decent approval rating. People are all full aware of the smear campaign done by the Swift Boat Veterans and these assholes will not get away with this again in 2006. Sure, there will always be 30% of the population that will believe any like that comes out of their mouths and there is 30% who know full well that these people are full of shit. But for the 'fencesitter' voters - they are starting to turn-away from these lies and are learning that "Swiftboating" = "mudslinging" and will turn voters off from anyone who is involved with this.

some of the local papers and news are picking up on this. Plus there will be a major backlash for the negative crap that goes on. Sure, perhaps a few extra points will be gained but I think more will end up on our side.
