Garrison Keillor on PHC just said why Bush really had to go to Baghdad...
...to "...Look the new Prime Minister in the eyes!"

Yeah see, They don't have Phone service there most of the time!

He also said, I thought that the War was over several years ago, when he made that Carrier Landing, but I guess I was wrong.

3. I Saw Him Live Three Weeks Ago at Wolftrap
It was a wonderful experience.

After inauguration day 2001, Keillor said that the president was "sworn in by one of the five people who had voted for him."

No one can say the things he things he says to a middle-class red state crowd and get away with it. Whoever the next nominee is, he needs this guy as a political advisor.

7. We saw him last Saturday in Austin.
We couldn't get tickets to the radio broadcast -- they sold out in less than an hour. But he put on a special second show with the same guests (except Molly Ivins) and I laughed until I cried!

Today's show was great, too, as always. :)

10. Molly Ivins was great (as usual) last week.
I my have to re-listen to that show.

Some of her best lines:

"Welcome to the little Blue Dot, in the middle of the big Red State..."

"...the slogan for Austin is "Keep Austin Weird," well speaking for the generation that made Austin weird..."

4. Love Keillor, and his willingness to say what's on his mind about
how horribly wrong our government has gone.

That the NSA was using Neilsen to rating to track down illegal aliens by seeing who was watching the World Cup. He was really on a roll last night.
