Our current whip, who would have contributed greatly to any future Democratic majority.

I'm no pacifist, but Jack Murtha does not represent my view of the US. Men like him have funded huge excesses of weapons spending. The Cold War was a trumped-up bullshit fear campaign, just like the Iraq War.

Where was Jack Murtha at the beginning of the Iraq War? He, and others who should have known better, could have stopped this thing. He only got involved late in the game. The Iraq War is not a problem because Rumsfeld &bush f-cked it up. The Iraq War was wrong from the beginning because it is imperialist conquest.
