The subject line's a quote from a wounded Infantryman (shrapnel in the eye, being sent back to the U.S. for surgery) in the documentary "Baghdad ER." It's on HBO right now.

There's the pro-war crowd and the anti-war crowd and the soldiers in between, getting killed and maimed in the act of doing what they believe to be their duty.

I urge you to pick one of the times below, if you have HBO, or rent "Baghdad ER."

3. I watched it a while back online.
The injured soldiers who were going to be sent back to the States were disappointed. Most of them seemed to just want to get back to their unit and their buddies.
