Obermann about Coulter: "It is her, isn't it?"
Coming up shortly on his show, Olbermann just said "Wait until you hear what I have to say about her. It is her, isn't it?"

I got a thread pulled for implying that Coulter is a godless wh**e.

Seriously. Right here at DU.

4. Is this the result of some agreement that DU has made to...
...not disparage Google Ads advertisers? I hope not but the timing is suspicious.

5. I think it's just that Skinner...
...doesn't want to disparage godless whores, I mean to be compared to Ann, that's pretty cold...

7. personally i find
the c..t word offensive- but that is just me....
based on old history of my own.... To me, it is the equivalent of using the N word-

As for Coulter, i just had the most awful ...insight.... or, maybe it was a Tsunami- sized wave of compassion... and it struck me, that i really pity her- can you imagine being so bankrupt, in terms of your value or standing as a human being, that you need to behave as she does, just to feel.... noticed?- powerful? -significant????? She must feel pretty desperate for recognition, that she would sell herself on the terms she does, for what???-

She is a sad, lost, desperate fool- and all the money and fame in the world isn't worth what she is willing to lose to get it.

Remember that- Hate kills. Let her die without taking anyone else with her- she is desperate for company, rather than join her- I'll extend the hand of peace, it's up to her to receive it- just as it is up to each one of us to either join her in her misery, or see it for what it is-

peace,
blu

12. I wouldn't presume to ask what that history is, but you might find the
following somewhat interesting:

a cultural history:
http://www.matthewhunt.com/cunt/index.html

as well as inga muscio's book, "cunt: a declaration of independence"

your compassion is a good reminder of how we should be responding to people. I, however, can only wish her exactly what she deserves.

14. well, that was
interesting to browse. Odd how words become what they do isn't it?
It's not the 'origin' of the word that offends me- anymore than the word 'n' word which meant black has been twisted into a kind of 'curse'- or intentionally hurtful demeaning name- It's also odd that the word bitch doesn't bother me in the least- I actually find it complementary- because of all of the creatures in this world, being compaired to a female canine, isn't something I'd be shamed or hurt by- the word has been so broadly used, and mis-used that it doesn't sting with the kind of 'personal attack' that others do-

At any rate, I really do feel sorry for Coulter- in seeking to hurt other people, she has really hurt herself the most- and usually people only 'attack' when they aren't very 'secure' about who or what they are- She must have a big emptiness if she's willing to fill it with the kind of muck she chooses to-
which is really pretty sad.

It doesn't excuse the harm she does, but i believe it exposes the wo"man behind the curtian"-

peace,
blu

8. There Are Rules, Ma'am
Regarding sexist usage, and homophobic slurs: they are enforced, and it does not matter who or what the target of the violation is.

11. Rules unevenly applied, to say the least.
Go amuse yourself by doing a DU search for the word "whore." And, by the way, that term has passed into gender-neutral usage.

13. That Would Not Amuse Me Much, Ma'am
It is in the nature of enforcing rules that some will think them unevenly enforced. We do our best.
