Yes. Plus he's the sterling pilot who managed to crash five of his own planes. His class ranking was a pretty good predictor of his military career, I'd say.

No one would want to be a prisoner in Vietnam. But his claim to being a war hero is very questionable, indeed, especially since he used his military service and his political position (gained by dumping his faithful wife and marrying a rich dope addict) to betray his fellow POW/MIAs.

When he came out and denounced the swiftboating of Kerry, I thought maybe there was an ounce of integrity in him. When he cuddled up to Boosh, I realized what a slime he is. I hope they put it to him good and he ends up on the teevee boo-hoo-hooing about it.

McCain, Buchanan - I support them not, but that's besides the point. They do (or used to) think independently of this administration, a cardinal sin. If Bush went on TV and told his supporters (those left, at this point), to go out and shoot their neighbors if they dissent about Iraq, I have no doubt that many - most - would carry out The Dear Leader's every order. Certainly "Cicero" would obey.
