I am getting sick and tired of waiting around for Fitzgerald to finish his job. I want Rove indicted, and now!!! I can't wait any longer. C'mon Fitzgerald, indict this slimeball.

1. I want my homemade wine to age faster, too.
But it'll taste better if I just let it do its thing, and live my life in the meantime.

2. He was supposedly going to be indicted two weeks ago
According to Jason Leopold, it was a done deal. Where the f**k is it??

10. We Do Not Really Need, Sir, Another Ceremonial Flogging Of Leopold
Time has made it obvious his report ws based, to put it kindly as possible, on wishful thinking....

It is certainly possible Mr. Fitzgerald will indict Rove, but those of us familiar with his work in Illinois against our state's Republican apparat know he is patient man who works like a boa constrictor, and nails down any possible avenue of escape before commencing on the meal.

14. Sadly, some people missed those ceremonies and still ...
... consider Mr. Leopold to be a factual source and not a fanciful one. I long for a time when everyone sheds their illusions and recognizes the facts. Appropos "fanciful", we all know that this will never happen. There will always be people who will hack off their genitals, don Nike shoes, drink poison and repose beneath a purple shroud in wait of the UFO behind the comet -- partly because one "charismatic" person said so, but mostly because of their blind faith.

I consider them to be the backwash in the meme pool. I'm happy to entertain someone posting yet another criticism of Mr. Leopold on DU in the slim hope that maybe one more person washes up on dry land and puts down the cup. But that's just me.

I won't believe (nor celebrate) Karl Rove being indicted of anything until I see it and read it as coming from Mr. Patrick Fitzgerald with corroboration of the report from many reliable sources (who aren't currently promoting their badly-written book). No "Faith-based Reporting".

No "Bermuda Triangulation". No "Bloggy-Scoopers". No "Partial Apologies". No "Hubristic Magic Men". No "Business-Epocs".

Just the facts, Sir.

15. My Interest, Sir
Is purely selfish, and in furtherance of my basic laziness: the things require effort to police....

17. I am the very model of a modern major general discomfort
for people like you who tend to the wellbeing of this forum. Well, I don't think I'm that irritating, but I think that my goals are even more selfish and lazy than yours.

Your point is well made. I wish you no undue effort. Good night.

19. Thank You, Sir
By the way, the model for the redoubtable Modern Major General was a fellow named Sir Garnet Woolsey....

4. Exactly never rush good wine---
we will know when all his "i's" are dotted and his "t's" are crossed. We dont know what Fitzgerald has found and maybe we dont wanna know all he's found so I would rather wait til everything is in order rather than have a shotty job done quickly and have turdblossom walk.

21. Did they always have twist off caps?
Edited on Fri Jun-02-06 11:28 PM by NYC
I can't remember, but I do remember people drinking Gallo out of brown paper bags.

P.S. I think the motto, "We serve no wine before its time," was very good for wine; it just didn't seem appropriate for Gallo.

12. That's what I'm afraid of
Fitzgerald has taken all this extra time because in my humble opinion, Karl Rove said something to him to get his ass out of the noose.

13. This what I have been saying all along...
we won't see the day that Rove is indicted. I do not see impeachment happening either.

Those are two things I am not counting on to happen at all.
