Now is the time for Kerry to become Edwards' VP
Edited on Tue Feb-03-04 10:09 PM by anti-bush
Edwards is clearly the only candidate who can win the southern states, and with Kerry's help at the VP spot, Kerry can help bring in the Veteran's vote.

3. The opposite was expressed in another thread
I thought this was just as appropriate, and more correct.

5. I really like Edwards...but... ????
I'd imagine the much more Senior Kerry, who also holds the current lead in the national race, would not think that made any sense. Perhaps Kerry/Edwards?

6. Good thing you told us, I guess we don't need to bother with voting
shoot, I bet if we just let the DNC choose who was going to run they could pick a winner.

8. Let's wait a few days, and see how this all shakes out.
I suspect that the media game will be somewhat changed tomorrow.

Meanwhile, it's time for me to head for my brewpub!! :D

9. You may be right
If you want to be a winner, you have to project the idea that you are the winner. I actually think Clark would be a better VP to Edwards. They mesh better and I don't particularly care what the VP's politics are.

14. Clark/Edwards or Edwards/Cark work great for me.
Why give up two seats in the senate?

13. Yep, exactly.
The point is, it's too early to declare a nominee and ask a candidate who is winning primaries to give up and declare himself a VP for another candidate.

watch what happens to the polls in the next week with regard to your candidate....we will see just how firm that support that materialized in the last two weeks for Kerry is when there is a clear alternative...
