I'm gonna be a bastard re: Snow's crying. . .
. . .while I believe the tears were real, the moment itself had to be a set up to make him more human. It was prompted by someone asking him why he was wearing a Live Strong bracelet. Think about that. As Howard Fineman just said on OLBERMAN, everybody knows that he had cancer. I believe that question was asked by a sympathetic reporter to elicit the tears. I'm not going to hate on Snow for this one, but I think whomever asked the question knew we would get that reaction thus making him seem like less of a bastard.

8. Of course this crowd staged the whole thing
These people orchestrate nearly every damn thing we see on tv, hear on the radio, read in books, magazines, and newspapers, so it's not a stretch that they would try to manipulate what happens at their press conferences.
The bracelet, the question, the tears. I'm sure they were all staged.

The most important question is: What were they trying to accomplish? Were they trying to elicit sympathy for Tony Snow? If so, what would that do for them?

Prevent "reporters" from asking Tony any "tough" questions, during these trying times?

Good reporters would smell blood, and go on the attack. Too bad there aren't many left.

9. You bastard!
Picking on crybabies. :nopity: How cruel! Remember when this bastard was on Maher? He wasn't prepared there either. He should have pulled this one out of his ass then, too.

10. I can't stand Tony Snow but
do we really have to be as hatefull as the right-wing bastards?

That's just what Bush wants, divide and conquer!!

I'm sick of it!!! I'm not gonna hate everyone just because they are republican.......I still like Colin Powell and even Tony Blair....but they both screwed up big time!!

Bush has been so sucessful in making us hate each other that we forget that bascially we all want the same things, a good education, good job, health care and a decent wage!

Let's not forget that we are all human beings on the same planet!

Tony Snow had a HUMAN moment--that's all.....we will have plenty to talk about him in the future, no doubt.

18. I'm 53 and I am wayyyyyy beyond it.........
You just learn not to sweat the small stuff.

Carrying around too much rage makes you age quicker and I want to be around along time and I still look great!

To quote an old 60's word "mellow" that's where I try to be......don't get me wrong I can kickass but only when provoked!!

14. I believe the entire episode was orchestrated.
Was watching it on Olbermann. The way he looked up twice so the camera could catch the tears welling in his eyes. Give me a f*cking break! It reminded me of when Alito's wife broke down in tears, on cue. Everything is manipulated with this administration. I don't know if Snowjob is a breeder, but I expect to see his children crying on cue for the camera next. "Don't be mean to my daddy," will be the next Kodak moment.

the administration for action on health care so all of us could be saved from a cancer should it strike.
