6. Best I can figure out when discussing politics with Repubs

is they get all hung up on "They enlisted in the military and that means to accept going to war if a president asks them" and, they like tax breaks (gotta laugh on that one) and that the dems want to have all these "give away" programs to the poor and black and those on welfare. One of my replies is, if there is a dead body in the middle of the road who do you expect to pick it up? Of course the govt. in what ever form allows for picking up dead bodies in the road. It is so hard to reason with people that are hung up on the issue of Dems giving Their tax dollars to worthless people. hell, there are worthless people all over the place, but, do they not care about the misfortunes of their fellow Americans who have truly played by the rules and lost?

... East of Trenton is where I am... It's all farm lands out here, or used to be, and hunting clubs and campgrounds abound... We're about twenty minutes from the coast, so lots of tourists and hunters come through here... Voter records have consistently showed a big Repuke majority in this town and surrounding towns too, year after year... So seeing that dude in the pickup was a real funkin treat... Better than a huge ice-cream Sundae... :)

absolutely **huge** sporting goods stores that sell neither baseball gloves nor basketballs ...... but lots of pistols and rifles and shotguns and bows and duck decoys ......

Not to diss hunters .... but that sort of thing at that scale is a real easy indicator of the general political bent of the neighborhood.
