in corn this spring? Any ideas, anyone?

Here is what I came up with:

We have an alert that black cutworm levels are high in Maryland corn fields this spring. The cutworms have the ability to go through a corn field like shrapnel from an IED can go through an inadequately armored Humvee supplied to our soldiers by Halliburton, the company formerly headed by Dick "Pepper" Cheney.

Am I on the right track? Is this what Harry had in mind?
