What will be the RW talking points on the Sunday MSM shows?
I'm at a loss to even imagine what the 'pubs are gonna say on the talk shows tomorrow. They are staring down some tough indictments and some really bad poll numbers.

I can't bring myself to watch those Sunday shows any more (I used to watch them religiously), but I'd like to know what you think will be trotted out for public consumption!

There's really nothing that they can say
So I'm guessing they'll try to change the subject.

4. Or you kidding? They'll be talking about how strong the economy is
and how strong junior is standing on staying the course and how the Democratic folks are undermining the war. :sarcasm:

3. Well, Dean and Kerry both spoke forcefully today so they'll say Dems have
no plans and never offer any solutions.

Oh yeah, and why can't Dems capitalize on the GOPs disarray. That's a typical corporate media rundown.

5. Kate O'Beirne was pretty quiet on Hardbal yesterday
I never saw her head hanging so low as yesterday. She's ridden a high horse on many programs for years. It was good to see her eating her hat, so to speak.

7. The CIA agent who was forced to resign
for revealing US secret prisons. The meme will be that the journalists who ran the story should go to jail or resign, just like Judith Miller (I admit I cheated, they were talking about this on CNN yesterday). They working to preemptively weaken any allegations Fitzgerald comes up with.

Also how high gas prices are due to states regulations for "special blends" to meet environmental regs that drive up the price of gas.

9. Never fear. They will have all received their talking points by the
time they go on air. Then they can just answer the questions they choose and ignore the ones they choose and just keep repeating the points they have been given, whether they apply to the subject being discussed or not. That's their M.O.

10. Iraq just picked a prime minister.
So this will be the latest "sign of progress in Iraq." If they don't hop all over it, then we might take it as a sign that even they don't want to try to get people's hopes up.

14. Republican spin?
How about this? If we would just drill the fuck out of everything and get rid of those stupid environmental laws, we wouldn't have any problem.

Oh...junior, who looked pretty cooked today, already declared the Iraqi prime minister a success. Shhhh... don't tell America that the man is a fundamentalist who loves Iran, Sadr, as much as he hates Israel... and of course the U.S.

16. Gas prices are Dem's fault!
Ya see, even though we have no power whatsoever and the executive branch is controlled by the oil interests, if we were able to draw a little bit of oil out of a remote region of Alaska--oil that wouldn't reach consumers for years--we'd have gas that cost only $1.75 a gallon.

Oh and Democrats hate America.
