Chairman Dean on Majority Report
Just caught Chairman Howard Dean's interview with Sam Seder on AAR on my way home. I must admit that I haven't heard Howard interviewed in some time. I thought he was wonderful, hit all the right notes...called the Republicans for what they are...a bunch of dishonest liars...I just really liked everything he had to say.

If there's a downloadable or streamable audio file of this somewhere, someone please let me know. I think my Mom would love to hear the interview and I'm sure she wasn't listening.

Thanks!

I think our Chairman rocks! :)

1. Yes, Howard rocks...
but I was hoping Sam would ask him what the Dems are doing to counter the bullshit ads the Repugs are placing on Spanish-language radio stations. Are Dems doing their own "that's a crock" ads?

2. Yeah, they only touched on the ads briefly...
Maybe if he'd had more time....I think they could have found a lot to talk about in a much longer interview...

3. Ed Schultz asked him the question about the ads today.
Yes. They're placing counter ads this week.

4. I will confirm that, this is a reaction though.
I just hope the target population does not buy a word from the GOP and will see it for what it is.

6. Was Schultz courteous to him this time?
I don't listen to his show anymore. I did catch the MR interview, and it was quite good.

5. He said Mehlman will at the very least have to testify...
in the NH phone-jamming case.

Interesting comments:

"Phone jamming in NH will spread out more...Mehlman may have to
at least testify. Like watergate, starts out little. We know they have done things in other states. Not isolated incident.

They're gone. their reign has effectively ended."

7. I'm in total agreement
I only hope he hits them harder and rallies the Dem's behind a strong meaningful assault against them.

8. "They're gone. their reign has effectively ended."
Best statement ever. If we keep saying it over and over...maybe it will happen sooner than later.

9. Ed Schultz show now up. MR archives are only for pay, I guess.

One comment I liked. Dean said it was not his fundraising people in DC were griping about, it was the way he was spending it on the state level. He said they wanted him to spend it on them.

10. EDITED: Sorry, I was wrong — that's a premium hour long interview.
