New Orleans Mayoral Debate Tonight: This oughtta be weird
I can't even begin to forecast how this unnaturally weird gig is going to pan out. This might be the most purely bizarre political event since Nixon's funeral. Strange brew.

Don't want to miss this one, campers. It's gonna be a slow motion car wreck.

And we get to share it with all of you.

MSNBC. 8:00 PM Central. With Chris Matthews, no less.

Fear and loathing in the disaster zone.

Step on through the looking glass and find yourself a comfortable seat.

Welcome to the Big Easy.

2. Brownie was just opining on Hardball....
that Nagin should not be re-elected! He blamed Nagin for not getting the people out of NOLA and said he thinks the city needs new leadership. BWAAAHHH!!!!

4. I have high expectations of terrible lunacy across the board
But, they'll get those sound bites.

Down here, we're all gritting our teeth and hoping it will at least be funny.
