IRAN ANNOUNCES ENRICHED URANIUM, AS BUSH ATTAINS HIS GOAL

In the wake of announcements that IRAN can now enrich uranium, Americans should prepare for a draft because the Republicans have spent our current forces in Iraq. Do you think Bush is stupid? Well, perhaps but still someone who pulls his strings knew exactly what they were doing by repeatedly slapping the nuclear power of Pakistan in the face. Bush will go up in the polls and now has a popular war to lose. Do you think Pakistan became more friendly with Iran after Bush buddied up with India, while insulting the rival government? If you thought Iraq was tough, you ain't seen nothing yet! I bet those defense contractors are rejoicing today. Wow, more big bucks for them as they finally get to use up some of those BIG weapons and develop some bunker busting nuclear technology.

Here's a slightly dated news article for background:
http://hrw.org/english/docs/2006/02/25/pakist12717.htm

(New York, February 25, 2006) – U.S. President George Bush should press his Pakistani counterpart, General Pervez Musharraf, to step down as army chief, hold free and fair elections, and restore civilian rule in Pakistan, Human Rights Watch said today. President Bush is scheduled to visit Pakistan this week.

:nuke: I hope he had a nice visit in India and Pakistan last month. :nuke:

"Turning a blind eye to Musharraf’s ongoing power grab undermines the Bush administration’s aim of fostering democracy in the Muslim world," said Brad Adams, director of the Asia division at Human Rights Watch. "President Bush must tell Musharraf that he can no longer count on U.S support to subvert the Pakistani constitution and block genuine elections."

1. He cannot and will not get away with this
IMHO. Or at least that is my fervent heartfelt projection.

3. i pray you're right... what type of slap on the hand will he get?
Impeachment? Do you think he cares? He's so popular with the idle rich now that he's not worried what the rest of the world thinks. Rummy is being a rude jerk on CNN, right now, instead of answering valid questions.

and the UN discredited, the US pardoned from the ICC, the media full of bull it seems unimaginable.

2. I doubt there will be a draft
Iran is planned as a bombing campaign.

These evil bastards will use nukes before they'll reinstate the draft. That's why they're planning on using the bunker buster nuke in the first place.

They think that if they bomb Iran, the dissidents will rise up and overthrow their government. These Repiglicans are so abjectly stupid that they can't comprehend that an attack by one country on another tends to galvanize support and quell dissent in the victim country.

Y'know what? I'd like to play a game of Risk w/ Rummy, Cheney, *, and Condi. What a bunch of ignorant losers!

Sadly, he probably *will* get away with it, because we can't get a couple of million people into D.C. to stop it. And the American people always love the front end of a war. It's the middle part, with all the guts and gore and heartache we can't stomach.

4. yep and after they nuke Iran, they WILL start drafting again, just wait!
Edited on Tue Apr-11-06 12:33 PM by Jeffersons Ghost
Do you think Iran will simply roll over and surrender after we nuke them? Do you think your borders and ports are secure? Do you think an Iranian could sneak into America with a Nuclear device next year? How many freedoms will this crap cost Americans?

I'd like to play Russian Roulette with the Chicken-Hawks, with NO EMPTY CHAMBERS! Cowards and smart-ass draft dodging punks get to go first. The planet is their game of "risk."
