Schneider (CNN) report compares Dean to Vampire (literally)
Just when you thought you've seen it all...

Bill Schneider (CNN Political "reporter" and AEI Fellow) just ran a report that compared Dean to a vampire, complete with movie clips of Bela Lugosi!!! He was saying that, if Dean doesn't win in any states tomorrow, Dean will be "politically "un-dead, swooping down on other candidates, sucking their blood," while clips of Bela Lugosi as Dracula play under Schneider's voice-over.

This guy isn't a "pundit", he's their "Chief Political Correspondent"! That is about as over-the-edge as I've ever seen the media!

:grr:!

I guess one shouldn't be surprised by such shit flowing from Schneider's mouth...

17. Bill Schneider - American Enterprise Institute fellow

Would it surprise you to learn that CNN's Political Analyst, Bill Schneider, is a fellow at the right-wing American Enterprise Institute?

24. Schneider hates Dean and doesn't even try to hide it.
I've seen some things from him recently that have really amazed me, the most outstanding one being his saying (after the YEEEAAGHH rally): "That's unpresidential!"

He was outraged.

12. Don't hold your breath.
Protecting the insider status-quo is priority number one and Dean was a threat to that. CNN runs this with the blessing of both the Republicans and the Democrats.

crap will backfire on the media. I think it's already starting to. The only corporate entity that most people mistrust and hate more than bushco is the mass media.
I'm still trying to put all the pieces together and connect the dots as to why the whore media set out to destroy Dean. I'm getting there, but still have a little more research to do. I want answers.

27. Actually, that kind of report is better than
just plain dead,

or

going down like the hindenburg,

thats how they reported on Clark after his 3rd place in NH.

Lets face it, political punditry is out of control. I would favor a law that forces them to air the candidate in his/her own words from debate clips or other interviews in equal time to any opinions expressed.

33. These people need to retake civics 101
Probably it is an intentional political hit piece, but there is another equally sick theory for this crap. News as entertainment. Keep everything light and lovely, mix in Hollywood and pop culture, come up with some new clever metaphor. Sometimes I think clever metaphors drive the actual reporting. First find a hook, then write coverage around it. It really is unforgivable. This is about electing the next President of the United States. The latest sport is kick Dean while he's down, and cover Clark if at all as an eccentric side show.

36. This is the type of shit that will nullify ABB
Even Kerry supporters should be pissed off by this, because if this type of over-the-top character assassination keep occurring, then many of Dean's followers may just take the attitude of a "pox on both your houses". Whether you want to admit it or not, ABB is the only hope that Kerry has, because he is basing his entire campaign on the fact that he is not George Bush, but he will still need any and every vote he can get.

Let's face it Dean supporters..The media doesn't like your guy or mine. They are too independent, & unpredictable. They might make some changes & shake things up.

And that would make it hell for all the media whores.
