Do you think that Republican voters helped Cuellar?
I'm not ruling out the possibility of fraud in Webb County until the situation gets reviewed. Fraud or not, I'm thinking that one of the reasons why Cuellar performed as strongly as he did was possibly because of Republican voters crossing over to vote for him. Why you may ask? Because there will not be a Republican candidate in this district in November. The only opposition will be a token Libertarian candiate. Because of this, tonight was essentially Election Night in the Texas 28. If I were a Republican who didn't have a horse in the race, I would go and vote for the guy who is closest to my values, even if he is a Democrat, especially a Democrat who endorsed and campaigned with Bush and votes with the Republicans more often than the Democrats.

2. He doesn't need to change parties; he's available when he's needed
by the dark side.

5. That's in the 2006 playbook..
They're running stealth Repugs in some local primaries here in Ohio.

And i suspect the Dem leaders are clueless about it.
