Delay still hanging out with Lobbyist Fundraisers even on Primary Tuesday!
DeLay to Attend Lobbyists' Fundraiser

WASHINGTON - Rep. Tom DeLay, whose association with lobbyist Jack Abramoff has left him politically vulnerable, is spending Texas' primary night Tuesday at a fundraiser hosted by two Washington lobbyists.

DeLay faces three opponents in the Republican primary. For the first time in the 22 years he's held office, he is up against a serious challenge after being forced out of his job as House majority leader amid corruption and campaign finance scandals.

The fundraiser is being held by lobbyists Bill Paxon and Susan Molinari, both former members of Congress from New York. The event will raise money for DeLay's re-election campaign.

3. He's done nothing wrong
He said so today. I heard on CBS radio news this morning that he is expected to get more than 50% of the vote in today's primary and avoid a runoff.

4. Here's an explanation from one of the lobbyists...
Paxon said if DeLay were to go to Texas for the primary, he would be criticized for leaving Washington while Congress was in session. The House is scheduled Tuesday evening to give final approval to the Patriot Act.

Ironically, they could care less what the voters think; it's the Diebold manipulators who count with DeLay. DeLay doesn't see the handwriting on the wall, however; the Diebold folks are going to let him lose in Texas, imo.

6. Nick Lampson was just on Big Eddie....
He thinks that Delay will win his primary tonight because his band of supporters are as braindead as he is. (Well, he didn't word it like that.. ) but he said as far as Rethugs in that District go, they'll more than likely come out strong for Delay.

Man, I hope he's wrong!!

When it comes down to the General election though, Lampson is VERY upbeat about his chances of taking out Delay.

I hope he's wrong about Delay winning the Thug primary, but I hope he's right that he has enough overall support to knock Delay out in the election!

7. Tom might need a job after tonight
No sense not being in position to put the arm on someone if he's gonna need a new job come the first of the year. DeLay's just corrupt, he's not stupid.

8. I sure hope so.. but Nick Lampson thinks the Thugs will come out for him.
Sounds like they're not considering what a LYING sack of crap Delay is..

His asses will come out in masses just to make some sort of warped statement.

Hopefully Lampson turns out to be wrong!
