Perhaps next GOP - Abramoff scandal scapegoating: on Lou Dobb
Kitty Couric interviewed a political columnist on Beoehner - and he said: "the problem isn't K street - the problem is that government has gotten so big that coruption happens".

Look for it!

1. Interesting. I picture them all in a room somewhere saying "hell
we got caught. Now, how can we spin this." and someone came up with that one after a couple McCallan's and soda.

3. I still think they will have a hard time whitewashing this
The first attempt was saying, it's no big deal, Dems do it too, fell with a thunk because
De. Dean didn't try to apologize, he just said no, this is a Republican issue. You can
tell that they are nervous. There has been no crowing over Bush's SOTU, credibility
is a real problem for them right now. The fact that they did not elect Roy Blunt
as Majority Leader is a sign of this.

4. I agree this isn't going away any time soon.
junior's credibility is in the toilet, his days are are on the down side, the bad side of humanity. When the smokes clears, junior will be rated lower than a snake. And all those that helped prop him up will deny ever knowing the son of a bitch. His days are numbered as are his smirks.
:hi:

8. there is no way they will deny Abramoff
and the British government is a leaking sieve, this bit about disguising the plane
to look like a UN plane gives me the creeps, it reminds me of the conspiracy
theories on 9-11. And if it did get shot down as a pr moment, what about the lives
of those inside.

11. W told Blair we should disguise US planes as UN planes, fly them over
Iraq and get Iraqis to shoot them down; then UN would be for attack on Iraq

it's in the threads about W's statements to Blair before invasion.....he was all ready and just needed an excuse

5. Wow. "The government made me do it," huh?
So much for morality and personal responsibility, not to mention "honor and dignity."

6. No - "the big size of government made me do it - drown the government -
stop corruption". Oh it is so sad.

I think we need one of those games where the puppet sticks its head out of the hole and you try and smash it with a cavel. So many scapegoats the GOP has for its actions.
