CONCRETE Progress within the last year:
Shrub crappy polling numbers don't count, we can't count those chickens until they are seats in Congress or the White House.

-DeLay out of Majority Leader position and under indictment.

-Libby out of WH, under indictment.

-Social Security "reform" dead on arrival.

On the agenda: Campaign 06.

Please feel free to add.

8. More: Truth is getting out on a regular basis, Bush WH is left calling
itself "incompetent" all day long, intellectuals are on the case, people coming forward, spygate, Fitz, most Americans want campaign reform, etc.

2. Bush was forced to use a recess appointment for Bolton.
That's a win in my eyes.

3. I don't consider that concrete progress, Bolton's in.
If Bush got called out on using recess appointments and became unable to use them anymore because of a change in law or whatever, then I'd consider THAT progress, but not what you listed.

5. Well, there's no way to stop recess appointments now
but they look bad and any time Bush has to take a cop-out method that's a win in my book.

4. Election wins
Didn't a Democrat win the VA governorship-and didn't the media say that Bush coming by to campaign actually did more to get out folks to vote Dem than it helped the repuke candidate?
