Is there a new member of the Bush family?
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush says Bill Clinton has become so close to his father that the Democratic former president is like a member of the family.

Former President George Bush has worked with Clinton to raise money for victims of the Asian tsunami and the hurricane disaster along the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Asked about his father and Clinton, Bush quipped, "Yes, he and my new brother."

"That's a good relationship. It's a fun relationship to watch," Bush said in an interview with CBS News broadcast on Sunday.

While attending Pope John Paul's funeral, Bush said, "It was fun to see the interplay between dad and Clinton. One of these days, I'll be a member of the ex-president's club. ... I'll be looking for something to do."

11. "One of these days"?
Notice he didn't say "in two years".

Bit of a Freudian slip there George?

3. Yeah, he will be a member of that club. But he will be in a federal prison
minimum security, no doubt. But Bush will probably spend many days looking for something to do...

4. I think I know why Clinton is hanging with the Bushes: redemption for an
ill-advised blowjob. This is his act of contrition.

Either that or something Freudian like he's the son GHWB never had and GHWB is the absent father in Clinton's life and he'll take any replacement.

5. Unfortunately, today is not 01 April.

Clinton was the best president the republicans ever had. Gave them quite a lot. And no good deed goes unpunished. Though 6 years later they become the best of friends.

I'll remember that...

7. "One of these days, I'll be a member of the ex-president's club" Soon,
Dubya, and I hope you have a toothbrush and change of skivvies already packed.

He says a lot in his little quips. Passive-aggressive little twit.

The Clintons, for all their flaws, are still doing something useful, while you are the guy who just f**ked everything up he touched before he disappeared back to the pig ranch. Even your Grand Jury testimony will be found incompetent.

8. People let me tell you about my best friend *cues music*
Actually it'll probably take two ex presidents to clean up JR's mess.

9. Anyone else find this somewhat suspicious?
Let's see...you have a former Grandmaster of the CIA befriending his one-time political rival, one whose wife may very well be the Democratic nominee in '08.

Nah, I'm probably reading way too much into that.

12. Ask Pam and Av Harriman about that.
After all, they designed and ran the left side of the factory. Worked pretty closely with the Dulles Bros. who managed the Right.

10. Does this gene-sharing mean Clinton will have to become an alcoholic, too?
