I'm not MIHOP, but...
Even though I'm not one of those who believes that * actually carried out 9/11, what do you think the public/fundie/Fox response would be if Bush came out and admitted to orchestrating the attacks?

It wouldn't be the same as if Clinton had done such a thing, that's for sure

1. It was necessary to protect the American people...
You see, they had grown complacent and needed a wake-up call. The Great Bushwa saved us from our complacency.

5. There is no outrage great enough which Bush could commit
that would cause Republicans to turn on Bush & defend America.

8. I've got to agree
I think you have to - if not what hope is there at all? I would think he would face some serious shit if the truth is ever found out - err should I say believed?

Sorry, had to put that last comment in, I'm in the MIHOP camp personally.

:sarcasm:

I have been a LIHOP until recently. More and more, bits and pieces keep coming out that are starting to convince me that is could be MIHOP.

7. W did the right thing by paying rich victims' families more than the poor
And of course Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor (not that he used campaign funds to pay for it like Bush may have done)

Check out Wayne Madsen today --- he reports that there is a confluence of cash between the Bush/Cheney campaign and the money that paid for flight training for the alleged hijackers.

That guy's got balls, that's for sure!

9. Bush couldn't do that
It would be an admission of participation in a mass murder.

There could be no conceivable justification for orchestrating an atrocity like 9-11. How would it be described? Sui-genocide? It would secure Bush's place both in the annals of wickedness and in either a Federal or an International lock-up for the rest of his life.

The right-wing "base" is already cracking. LOTS of fundies are defecting, because lots of fundies actually believe some of the stuff they read in the Bible other than the sex laws. Fox was accused of "sliding to the Left" yesterday by Bush lapdog Brent Bozell ("Accuracy In Media").

And you needn't be embarassed to float some ideas that may be of questionable value. Only assholes will try to ridicule you; you should click Alert any time this happens, since there has been a rash of ridiculing lately.

The rest of us may not agree with you, but most of us will be happy to fill you in on the details you may have missed. Incorrect theories often can lead to the truth, just by turning attention to something we've all overlooked. It's easy to correct an error, but conceptual blindness is a lot more difficult to deal with. I myself have been wrong many times since 12/13/2000, when the election was stolen; for just about all of us, it's been a long, often painful, learning process, but "the truth will out".

10. "He was doing God's will"
Same justification that the real hijackers used
